You tell me. Here's how - Who, what, where why when.
Who is being quoted? If it's a quote saying that no one is closer to the oil
industry than Palin and its the head of the Sierra club, you know what his
bias is. Bush is probably a lot closer.

What is the context of the quote? If the quote is that Alaska (under Palin)
asked for 31 earmarks, is it in an article that says that Alaska is the
highest, lowest, what?

Where is the quote from? Was it from a NY times news article or a NY times
opinion article (you posted an example of this the other day)

Why is the quote being made? What is the goal of the person being quoted?
Are they bashing for its own sake? Speaking out their ass? Making an
informed and unbiased investigation?

When was the quote made? Was it made before the whole secession BS was
investigated or after?

Finally, something not in the basic 5Ws is in comparison to what? First it
blasts her for the bridge to nowhere without mentioning Biden or Obama's
votes for it and then later uses Obama related quotes to show her in a
negative light.

Bottom line is that if you apply the basics that any media outlet is
SUPPOSED to use to this then you see the other points. I didn't say 20 and I
don't know how many can be applied (I'm in massive pain and very busy) but
how about you do it. Show us your investigative skills. Be a better reporter
than most of the sorry ass excuses out there today.

Damn I sound like an old fogy
