Ok. I do expect the economy to shrink over the next 2 years. It's
taken a big hit (as I believe you claimed it being close to collapse)
and I don't expect it to perk right back up. Housing, especially,
won't be rising by much anytime soon I hope. Bubbles are supposed to
burst.

But it is entirely possible that Congress and the Presidency will make
it worse in the next administration than it otherwise would be. And if
that is the case, then I'll blame Obama and the Democrat-controlled
Congress and I'm sure we'll vote them out.

Of course we won't be able to know whether McCain would have done any
better or worse. All we can individually say right now is that we
think one of the two is more likely to do well than the other. There
are no guarantees either way.

And no matter which of the two of them win, I'm going to hope that
they do a brilliant job of guiding the country. In the end, that's
what we want. We have our preferred candidate because we think they
can do a better job of guiding the country. And if your candidate
doesn't win, then you have to hope that you were wrong and the other
guy does a top notch job, because it is still our country and it still
needs a good President.
