you look like plan A at the moment. Is there someplace other than Barstow that would be better? It's kind of an armpit of a place if somebody winds up waiting a couple of hours. It's a little difficult to estimate arrival time due to the realities of long road trips started after a 12-hour workday, but it looks like very early morning right now. How far away are you? I am not very familiar with the geography -- I just know that last time I went Barstow to Bakersfield then over to I-5. Conceivably I could cut west to I-5 sooner?
