I seem to remember that when ColdFusion 5 was released there was a lot of
press saying "This is ColdFusion 5, not ColdFusion 5.0. There will not be
a 5.x because this product is so good it doesn't need one." Is it my
imagination or did that really happen?

If so, why does my certificate say that I am a Certified Advanced
ColdFusion 5.0 Developer?

(I'm just causing trouble, you can ignore )
