I've always heard that Plasma is better for movie watching. Blacker Blacks,
brighter colors.
but there has traditionally been a threat of Burn-In for Console games, or
even News Channels.

Now this was a while back, and I am not sure if
A) New Plasma sets have dealt with Burn In or
B) LCD televisions have matched or surpassed Plasma image quality now.
