I don't think Bush is evil, just tragically stupid.  Cheney's evil,
but not Bush.

Bush has no operational confidence in himself, never has.  That's for
good reason, because he doesn't have ability there.

He trusted "the experts" and he didn't listen to critics because he
had no ability to listen and judge their remarks on their merit.

This is what drives Bush's love of loyalty over competence.

Good leaders don't even think about loyalty - they don't have to and
they don't care because people are resources.

If, however, you're a moron like Bush and have no ability to
competently think through anything on your own you have to count on
others to do it.  Those others become your life line; without them you
fail.

That type of management style (The Peter Principle) works (for
promotion) with lesser levels of complexity, shorter levels of tenure,
and ambiguous measures of accomplishment.

The Gov of Texas or Alaska is perfect for that type thing. Clearly the
Presidency is not.

And the result is one of the greatest failures in history.

No, Bush isn't evil.  Just tragically stupid.
