We had sleet too. I was out at 6:30 to run down to the school 2 miles away and their parking lot was a sheet of ice. I went out around 8:30 this morning since internet was out at the school and the main road was still white. 4 splows for the state passed me as they blew their horns for me to pull over into a snow drift and still I saw no asphalt. I'm going back out later to see if the internet is back up at the school and will see if they did any more salting or anything.
Plowed my driveway with the tractor, left to go to the school, 30 minute later when I return the wind had blown the path almost back full of snow so you couldn't see what I had done. 11" deep path filled. Can't wait till I have 11" of mud deep this weekend when we go to 60 degrees.
