The webserver has to be SSL v3 compliant first - but, yes, and both RapidSSL certs and The Geotrust certs I get both issue certs from their root in case the web server does not. (they are single root SSL's) Geotrust owns the Equifax roots. Of course Equifax is Geotrust. :)
