The UK's fifth successive quarter of recession was much deeper than the 0.3% forecast, stunning experts and business leaders.
The economy has slumped 5.6% since the second quarter of 2008, according to the Office for National Statistics' (ONS) estimates the biggest fall since its records began in 1955." That's..not good news :( Basically the larger economies need to recover and quickly to curtail the effects on smaller perhaps more vulnerable developing states.
