Yup - it's a pretty common security scenario still today for a company
to ignore security threats when they are reported.  Shame shame.

I also think that Apple enjoys an arrogant but somewhat deserved
reputation as having very few viruses on their platforms.  Their
OS(es) are so much more prevalent now I wonder if this is the tipping
point for more focus on Apple as a target for virus authors.
