you're saying 1 gig and also external hard drive which to my mind are different things. I have an 8 gig and a 16 gig thumb drive. I just bought two 320 gig Iomega external drives for I think $79 each from Radio Shack. I like them and they are slim. I think you are thinking about a 1-terabyte external drive? Radio Shack had one when I was in, regularly $139 but on sale that week (but no longer) for $99. I did not get that one even though it was probably cheaper because it was bulkier and because it required a power cord, which I find annoying.
