Philip in DWUD4 & in MX all you need to do is hold down your Alt key + the picker & you can select any color from any other window, such as a web browser or desktop...

In Studio you can sample from anywhere on the screen (or in my case screens) It seems to be the same for DWMX as for DWUD I want the Studio picker!!!
