Actually some of the other stories are amazing, such as the siege of Sevastopol - von Manstein's greatest triumph, or the defense of the Kokoda Track by 100 Austrailian reservists are simply amazing stories and great history. Another example is the tragic end of the French army at dunkirk - which sacrificed itself to save the British, or Zukov's crushing of the Japanese Northern Manchuria army in 1940.
These stories are unknown to people here. In my mind you cannot understand this era, and their impact on subsequent history unless you have the full story.
