Of course when you got fewer features that it will require fewer lines of code. I don't know about linux only features but the mac version included a lot of mac only features like integration with the keychain system and some animation things. I saw a list somewhere and there was quite a bit of mac only stuff.
What's funny is that I have seen people on here show code to get the current logged in users name that take up more code than chrome.. lol >Interesting.
