I do want to stay in Alameda, if I can. I've arranged for a storage unit for my stuff. Will probably just crash on a friends couch for a few weeks until I can resolve the cash flow issue. One client wrote me a check for 10 grand that bounced which has really put me in a hole. It's pouring rain, I have the flu, and I'm down to less than five pills on my pain meds. But I'm a tough old broad and I'll survive. Hoping at least one of the clients that owe me money will pay this week, so I can cover the storage unit and movers without having to mortgage my soul.
