Jubal and Lazarus were radically different characters, and in some
stories both existed. But in some sense, all of his male characters
were him, and all his female characters were his wife Virginia.
Still, they are awesome and I learned much from them.

But if you are convinced his work is useless, there is no point
arguing with you about it.
