While the gender roles of the Inuit might be common, I think we can agree they are not universal. In fact if we wanted to look for a more appropriate source we would probably need to look at the period tribes of Western Europe as that is supposedly where these people would have come from. While the Inuit are more likely to have been from peoples who did cross the land bridge from Siberia. All of this compounded, of course, by the fact that roles in societies change over time. In the little material I have seen on this, nobody is calling this a major route. Just that there could be evidence that a small group of people somehow landed on the east coast of America from Western Europe. And lived there until this group encountered and was eventually swamped, overwhelmed and probably incorporated into the much larger group migrating from the north west. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
