It's a sad day indeed.  I live in Sarasota, several hundred miles down the
Florida coast (about 50 miles south of Tampa).  We have some of the whitest,
finest beaches in the world here (Siesta Beach, especially).  I can only
hope that the winds are good to us and keep the oil away, but I suspect we
will eventually see some of it here as well at some point in the future.
Very bad situation for everyone on the gulf coast.
