Besides the annoyance alone (which from afar, on TV, is very very high. I
cannot watch the matches with my sound on), they apparently cause
significant hearing damage in a very short amount of time.

Being in the stands for one game with them will permanently damage your
hearing, from what I have read.

I like the enthusiasm. I dislike the permanent injuries.
