Exactly. I also don't think that the recent federal court ruling will stand as the President was well within his powers regards if it may cost some jobs or not. The many environmental laws and other laws give him ample power to do a heck of a lot more than what he is doing. He is going easy on BP.

Also, as has also been pointed out to you, it's not going to be the government handing out the money. As for the moratorium on drilling, it's not illegal. It clearly falls under the interstate commerce clause of the Constitution. They don't even have to stretch said clause the way they so often do. The Federal government is WELL within their Constitutional power to stop offshore drilling if they so choose. Now when you come back from your fantasy land would you give me directions to get there? I need a break from reality. -----Original Message----- From: Sam [mailto:sammyc...@gmail.com] Sent: Tuesday, June 22, 2010 2:38 PM To: cf-community Subject: Re: Need help understanding a current talking point There is no law allowing the US government to take money from one company and distribute it at will to whomever they desire without due process. Also, wasn't Feinberg going to pay the 150k newly unemployed oil workers due to the now illegal moratorium on drilling? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Order the Adobe Coldfusion Anthology now! http://www.amazon.com/Adobe-Coldfusion-Anthology-Michael-Dinowitz/dp/1430272155/?tag=houseoffusion Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:321787 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/unsubscribe.cfm
