Fifa responds to another point of contention in the worldcup today : The new Ball.
The ball has come under intense criticism for it's propensity to arc several meters into the air with the slightest touch. This has thrown off several strikers who in regular play are normally top scorers. It is also supposedly responsible for the low goal scoring in several of the matches thus far.
