The actions of this current administration will really have it's effects in
the last 2 years of his term and into a second term (if he get re-elected).
Stuff that he did in his first few months are taking effect now as can be
seen in the job growth from the Bush administration, that experienced severe
job hemorrhaging. That trend continued into the first few months of the
Obama presidency and then started to taper off after actions that were taken
by Obama at the beginning of his presidency. I would even say that the TARP
bailout that Bush started had some positive effects, but those effects were
reduced by the lack of any restrictions placed on the funds, so business as
usual continued until Obama threw in the ball of attached strings.

That long? Interesting.

So, theoretically, he could serve as president for one term, not get
re-elected, and not be blamed for anything bad that may have happened
in that 4 years.

Of course, if things turn around, even more than they have, in the
next 2.5 years, people will be clamoring to have his likeness added to
Mt. Rushmore.

Its almost like a win/win for him. Not for us, however.
