Anyhow that said, no matter what the disagreement is, we do help each other on the list. At times when I have a problem that I cannot solve, I post to this list rather than CF-Talk because of the response time (typically minutes rather than hours for CF-Talk), and believe it or not, this list has a lower signal to noise ratio than CF-Talk. But its not only CF, I've seen people answer questions regarding backups, CSS, javascript, .Net and even taxes.
