One would think so since the same person posted a job in Houston on
the cf-jobs list.

Speaking of which, Laura, there is a cf-jobs-talk list. I don't know
if it gets much traffic as I'm not subscribed but that might be a
place more on-topic for this discussion. That being said, I don't know
of any active members on this list who are in Houston. Coldfusion
jobs, in general, seem to be geographically clustered. I've seen
several come up in Dallas but I don't recall many in Houston. Salaries
tend to be on the average to higher side for developers with similar
experience levels because the pool of available workers is smaller
than with some other platforms like .Net and PHP. All of this, of
course, depends on the company in question, the skill set needed and
the developers in question.
