OK, so I have been out of the game for a bit and my platoon sergeant wants me to build an MS Access form for our platoon info. So I am trying to do a simple update query and I get the message Operation must use an updateable query. Here is the query:
UPDATE Users SET Users.User_Rank = (Select Rank_ID FROM Rank Where Users.User_Rank = (Select Rank.Rank_Name FROM Rank)); This is for MS Access 2003, Can anyone see what is wrong with this? As I said, I have been out of the game for a couple years and am a bit rusty.
