Poligraft takes a url to a news article, parses through it, finds
names of politicians, lobbyists, companies, prominent advocacy groups,
etc and then finds the ways they are connected and who is getting
money from and giving money to each. Basically, who is paying off whom
in the article you are looking at. I find that to be totally cool.

They have a couple of sample searches at the bottom of the page, like
an article on Senate Democrats Punting on Spill Bill:

http://poligraft.com/BrUR

which shows how much the American Petroleum Industry gave to each
politician mentioned in the artcile, where each politician gets their
contributions from and how much each industry/advocacy organization
gave to Republicans and Democrats.

Neat.
