I think the most amusing part to me is that every person I ever heard
talk about that idea thought they were the first person to ever think
of it.

...and the restaurant next door to my building sells six packs, so
delivery is a little pointless.  YMMV.

Portland has some of the most well thought out transit and the best
balance of density vs sprawl of just about any American city I have
ever been to.  If any students are going to come up with good urban
planning I think it would be there...
