I can't think of anything more useless than blame. The focus needs to be not on who was responsible, as most of them are no longer in a position to be held accountable, but on how to prevent this type of financial shenanigans in the future. I'd like to see less rhetoric and more real accountability, especially by the current lawmakers. Now that the Supreme Court has ruled as it has on corporate donations, it will be all too easy for those manipulating the financial markets to buy themselves a mess of politicians.
