There is a charter school there in Portland that specializes in marine science. I donated about 6500 ocean science books to them, including a number signed for me by Jean Michel.
I love marine sciences, including biology, geology, and technology. Even archaeology. It's really the next frontier. And it's where the extremophiles live.
