Is there something in the air? Maybe we've all somehow gotten bad name calling-itis?
Listen, there are jokes and there are jokes that just aren't funny. And there is no reason for anyone to threaten anyone else or say they'll call someone else's employer, even if you've been offended by what's been said by someone on the list. HERE ARE THE RULES: NO -- Absolutely NO -- Personal Name Calling on this list! Whether you couch it as a question, an answer, or a joke. If you want to call yourself a name and say LOL or something like that, where it's not likely to offend anyone, okay. But please use common sense. Saying "Gee, what a lousy idiotic conservative I've become. LOL" is likely to offend everyone on this list who considers themselves a conservative. This has always been a list where we could have heated debates and still remain on friendly terms. But heated debates is one thing -- Name calling is just not allowed. Keep the name calling out of the debates and you'll find it a lot easier to argue and still remain friends. I don't want to have to kick people off the list; I will if I have to. Judith >Well, I have been told by Mr. Haggerty that I offend anyone ever again >he is going to email my employer (of course that messages was not sent >to the list). Knowing that it is impossible for me not to offend >someone I am signing of the list. > > > >Had fun while it lasted. I hope to see you guys in the future, at least >at DevCon. My invitation for the debate still stands Larry! Or anyone >else who wants. I will see most of you at the community suite this >year. > > > >Kevin ______________________________________________________________________ Your ad could be here.
