I am sure the moon also effects some individuals' decisions about whether
and how much to work and how much labor is used, but doesn't mean that it's
an absolute fact. That is opinion and not fact based. I also happen to
disagree with that opinion. Getting insurance, even if it was provided by
the government 100%, would not effect how much people decide to work (other
than maybe working more because they know their health is covered), while
this insinuates that people will work less because they have health
care...that is ludicrous.

If you have health insurance, you will work more because you will be sick
less or at least for shorter periods of time because you will have access to
treatment and preventative medicine. Now that is based on facts.

Then let's go right to the source, the CBO report:

http://cbo.gov/ftpdocs/119xx/doc11945/USC10-22-10.pdf

on page 3:

The legislation will affect some individuals' decisions about whether and
how much to work, and some employers' decisions about hiring workers. We
estimated that the legislation, on net, will reduce the amount of labor used
in the economy by roughly half a percent, primarily by reducing the amount
of labor that workers choose to supply.
