Man, imagine what 4 feet of snow would do here in Raleigh! Back in 2000, we had 22" of snow fall one day... it was a Sunday, thank goodness, but the weather forecast saturday night had called for "2 to 4 inches" which we got 5-10 times over. :)
RDU International Airport re-opened on Thursday (after being close for four straight days).... the schools were closed for two weeks. That Thursday was the first day I could actually get out of my subdivision.
