California has numerous climate zones, ranging from desert to coastal rain forest. Depends entirely on where you are, and I think everyone who lives here is very aware of the problems with water, as the debate rages constantly.
Although it is not as violent or lengthy as the debate that Georgia, Alabama and Florida are having over water, which has been going on for about 200 years.
