I don't, but then I personally don't care nor do I think should anyone.

Interestingly, the very next line from Krugman after the above point is:

"The president’s proposal isn’t perfect, by a long shot."

So then by the same logic and criticism applied to Sen Ryan, Pres
Obama's plan must also not be "serious"?

The point being the details are totally meaningless at this point;
necessarily so. Anybody that expects different is totally out of
touch with how humans work.

The debate now must be over the big blocks; revenues vs. spending,
spending on what?, etc etc.

E.g., let's cut defense. NO! we can't! So we should spend 200% of
GDP on it then? Well, no, not thhhaaat much. Then how much? 50%
25%?

That where we need to be right now and that's exactly what Sen Ryan started.

Personally I think we need about a 25% overhead which is 5% more than
Ryan and 1% more than Obama. Inside of that, though, I think we need
total restructuring.

E.g., Barney Frank was saying how we couldn't cut financial
regulation. Why? THey don't do shit anyway. Restructure it and then
cut it. You'll achieve 99% better outcomes.

Treat government spending like a bankrupcy.

Like what it really is.

That's all I'm say
