DING!  Most state law is written to allow the left lane for passing.
Blocking it is a moving violation as was shown in this case, and the
driver could've gotten a ticket.

Had the driver slammed on the brakes he would've gotten 2 tickets, had
to pay for the damages, and probably lost his/her insurance.

Slamming on brakes is about the dumbest thing anybody can ever do.

Also what's with people not understanding how to merge onto a freeway?
 They just come flying on in as if it's up to traffic to let them in.
You don't have the right-of-way when entering a freeway!

Also how come people don't understand what a yield sign is?  It means
yield the right-of-way to the other cars.  For some reason people
think a yield sign doesn't apply to them.

And how come people don't understand how to freaking merge when one
lane ends?  In MN state law says if you're in that lane you drive
until it ends and then "zipper" merge with other lane.  Nobody does
that.

And how do people forget how to drive in the snow in only 9 months?
