We lost a tree. But the storm, 3 centers in a row, including the one that devastated Tuscaloosa, went right over and past us. The center was just a few miles south of us in Suches, GA. It was an EXHAUSTING night. Between pacing and watching the updates and watching the storm, including watching the storm kill the tree (neat noise!) ... I fell asleep sitting up on the couch. LOL! Finally felt safe enough to go to bed at 2am ... but we were ready to hightail it to a corner of our basement.
The hail was astounding though. .5 to 3 inches across in various spots here in Georgia.
