To get a better sense of what I'm saying take a look up the coast at
all of the new Fortune 500 (or 50!) companies being created - the
companies that will displace those existing - and see where they're
hiring and where their core infrastructure is.

Extrapolate out 100 years and think of where the power center of US
will be in terms of company creation.

Over the long term, "outsourcing" becomes irrelevant and strategic
sourcing becomes paramount.

The outsourcing craze is the winding down of the industrial revolution
and an attempt to keep margin where no margin is to be had.  That's
why outsourcing usually doesn't work.

US companies will morph to services companies or they will die.
