"Doubtful. She might have room in her apartment at 42 degrees for storage,
but no one would be comfortable living in 42 degrees."

Maybe. The information came from a "confidant".

Quote:

Streisand also urged her fellow Americans to set air conditioners at 78
degrees. One source told Keil that Babs kept the 16 rooms in her unoccupied
Central Park West triplex as cold as a meat locker.

I like this part:
And don't forget the time Streisand urged everyone to conserve energy by
hanging laundry outside on lines, rather than use electric clothes dryers.
But when asked if Streisand herself was using a backyard clothesline, her
spokesman said: "She never meant that it necessarily applied to her."

And according to The New York Post,Barbra is a bit of an air conditioning
nut:

A Streisand confidant told *The Post*, 'She is someone who cannot be hot,
not even for a minute.'

Also, she does keep her 12000 sq ft barn air conditioned.

Basically, she just another hypocrite. Doesn't make her much different from
most celebrities and politicians.
