If I can get in and out of the city without my blood pressure going through the roof from dealing with idiot drivers, I'll consider another trip down off my mountain for AWS. I'm telling you, once you settle in to the idyllic peacefulness of living surrounded by farms, fields and mountains, anything more than a quick 8 mile trip to town and back knocks one for a loop! ;) Hell, our local bar/restaurant/live music/social venue is 1 mile across the street. The only thing I like about going to Florida is that there is water. Lots of it, and tiki bars. Lots of them. And we never take any major highways. <sigh> I sound like a hermit. And I love to travel.
