and in GM's response, this little gem: "We have never sold any personally identifiable [onStar] information to any third party." That is a bold statement. GM sells onStar puzzle pieces, and people who like to solve puzzles buy those pieces, and a bunch of other pieces from other puzzle piece vendors. Then they put all of those puzzle pieces together and decipher the minute details of people's lives. So what kind of hit rate could we expect for onStar data if we cross-referenced all other commercially available datasets against all commercially available onStar data?
