If you want to be a "one man band" with a few external key players from
time to time - then Tony is spot on. Hop to it and play it by ear. Just
file a proper LLC (more than one person - secondary people do not have to
have voting or earning rights) and be an S Corp to save on some taxes.

If you plan on expanding, hiring employees, having a "brick's and mortar
office" or simply want to take it REALLY SERIOUSLY then yeah, do all that
you mentioned, then decide if you have enough existing capital to pull it
off, debt free. Or find an angel investor for a percentage of profits.

I'm finding out right now - that although I have been living pretty good "a
la Tony's way" ... I'm ready to expand. I'm ready for the next step. And
the next step takes a solid business and marketing plan.

And besides that - a solid business and marketing plan for some people,
really solidifies what they want to accomplish and gives them certain
goals, that otherwise would be forgotten if they were not written down.

With you guys as my witness ... I'll be a millionaire while I am 40. But it
won't be without the proper planning you've described.

***Please Note: OF COURSE people have done really well without the prep.
I'm speaking for the masses here, not the extraordinary few.***
