Can't you already do that with CF and give them a form to conf their CSS?
Instead of having your CSS in a .css file, just have it in a cfm and you can
easily do at least most of this....just to play devil's advocate.  I think
this is pretty neat...

I'm looking at it from the viewpoint of running a hosted content management
service.

Now, instead of being afraid to let clients edit their CSS settings (which
they currently do if they dare), I can add an additional module to my system
that lets them change small site settings such as padding, colors,
font-families, sizes, etc without knowing how to properly write:
"padding-left: 12px;".

It actually gives me more control over keeping their site look consistent
and professional, but keeps them happy with the knowledge that they can
finally change a few things they didn't think they could because of
knowledge.

THAT is gold in  my little universe.
