I am not a fan of it, no. Then again, I am a scrooge. My wife and I usually buy something large together or take a short trip (last year - 55" TV, this year, Patriots vs. Tebows in Denver on 12/18), and my family only does gifts for the young'uns. Christmas is just another day off IMO.
