Its not a competition or a contest. Its driver safety. You may be the best driver in the world drunk stoned or sober, but there is no guarantee that the idiot in front or beside you is. The chances are that no matter how good you are, the guy hitting you won't be. Moreover I do not want to bet my life or the life of my kid on that assumption on how good of a driver complete stranger is.
