These people influence Rock N' Roll more than you think or they wouldn't be
in there. It's the influence on Rock N' Roll and absents of sub genres in
the Hall of Fame contributing to he problem.

I'll bet ya $10,000 there are well over 500 sub-genres of electronica
alone, and all play a part in modern Rock n' Roll today. The rythym is so
precise in electronica beat for beat that it's the goal of all artists to
achieve this same precision. Which they don't, as a DJ you can't play 2
live songs for more than 10 seconds without fudging the tempo to keep them
in line.

The modern day mix-down is quantized / synced anyway; resistance if futile,
you will all be in simulated!

Another 10 years and their won't be a Rock n' Roll anymore.
