If you haven't watched Gasland, I would highly suggest it. Folks who had these well on their property had water that was saturated with flammable gasses and other materials. They could literally light their tap water on fire as it is coming out of the facet. This is some bad mojo for sure. This movie was created before they were able to connect the increase frequency of earthquakes caused by injecting this wastewater into the earth. It's one od those ideas that seemed like a good idea at the time that turned out to be a really bad idea very quickly.
