"Some right wing conservative christian (hah!) is advocating kidnapping the children of same sex couples. Do these idiots even have a molecule of the charity and love that Christ advocated?"
There's a big difference in calling yourself a Christian or a conservative and actually being a Christian or a conservative. I doubt these "conservative christians" are conservative or Christian. On a similar note, here is an article about a doctor advocating that the state seize obese children from their parents: http://www.nypost.com/p/blogs/capitol/doctor_government_should_confiscate_4zJXUqGYqi6Bhjv59mUJOM Or an obese third grader being taken from his mom: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/on-parenting/post/ohio-mom-loses-custody-of-obese-son-should-the-government-penalize-parents-of-obese-children/2011/11/28/gIQA1v665N_blog.html Here is another article about an obese father losing custody of his children: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/06/21/child-custody-obese-fathe_n_1616167.html The good thing is this: if the Westboro refugees that you mention do kidnap someone, the legal system is completely against them. The bad thing is this: What do you do if the gov't takes your children or helps others take your children? A little harder to deal with. Shades of Lebensborn. I know some statist is reading this and agree with the state taking children for health reasons. Before you make that argument, understand that the Westboro refugees would argue that eternal life trumps any health benefits of a finite life on earth. So, the state can justify taking children, but the idiots you mentioned can justify their actions as well. In the end, I think we all want children removed from homes where there is abuse, health issues, and so on. It's the drawing of the lines that constitute these that are hard to figure out.
