The house we bought a few years ago has a heat pump/furnace hybrid thing
going on. On some of the colder days, when it's using the heat pump, it
doesn't feel quite as warm.....but that's the trade off you make ( you
aren't going to be able to get the same level comfort for the same price ).
WE like the system though. It works, and I think it's cheaper.

Also, if you are ever cold, you can just hit the e-heat setting to tell the
furnace to cut out all that Al Gore shit and to kick that furnace on baby!
