Google is pretty good about not penalizing real sites with valid links, unless the site is only links. You will likely be fine, but now you know to keep an eye out. And remember, a portion of Google rank is based on how many sites link to you, so if you're doing a lot of linking, you might wanna see if you can get some reciprocal links.
