What are you bending over for?  It doesn't affect you...the idea behind the
mandate was to give insurance companies a larger pool to spread the risk
over, thus reducing rates and other health insurance costs.  If you have
insurance already, then it really doesn't affect you with the exception of
stuff like pre-existing conditions, requirements that insurance companies
spend a certain percentage of revenue on the actual costs of insurance and
when there is leftover, you get rebate checks.  While I think that in many
ways the ACA was a big gift to the insurance industry, it is has many
positive steps forward in reforming some of what is wrong with the health
insurance industry.  If you are getting charged more...it is because of
greed...not higher costs.
